NABOR'S ANNUAL AFFILIATE APPRECIATION LUNCHEON TOMORROW! This year NABOR will be hosting its Annual Affiliate appreciation Luncheon on November 20th from Noon to 1:30 p.m. The luncheon is our way of telling Affiliate members how much we appreciate their support throughout the year! Our Affiliate members have stepped up to the plate many times for us by sponsoring our luncheons, monthly breakfasts, weekly blue marketing meetings, holiday party, car show, golf tournament and too many more occasions to mention. They always show up with a smile and, yes, your favorite door prizes. This time we would like to turn the table and show them what it is like to be on the receiving end.
This luncheon is going to be a Pot Luck and we are asking agents to bring a covered dish. We would like to ask each Broker to provide a gift basket or baskets (or gift cards) for door prizes. Realtors® are welcome to bring a gift basket as well. We would also like every affiliate to leave with a goody bag so any donations of items to put in the bag are greatly appreciated. 2009 FAR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY The FAR Leadership Academy is designed to identify emerging REALTOR® leaders who want to get involved, make a difference, grow their business and expand their leadership skills. Applications for the 2009 Leadership Academy are now being accepted. Complete and return this form by Jan. 9, 2009, to be considered.
FAR SCHOLARSHIP/ESSAY CONTEST FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS--DEADLINE FEBRUARY 9th, 2008
The Florida Association of REALTORS® is sponsoring its 2008-2009 Scholarship/Essay Contest for High School Seniors, which this year offers high school seniors living in the state up to $28,000 in college scholarship funding! FAR established the program several years ago to demonstrate their dedication to improving and strengthening their communities.
Entering the contest is easy. Students must write a typed, double-spaced essay - 500 words or less - on the topic, "How Does a Realtor® Professional Benefit the Community?" All essays, accompanied by an official essay cover form, must be postmarked no later than February 9th, 2009. Click here for additional information and to download the Cover Form and Essay Kit.
HOLIDAY PARTY AND ANNUAL AWARDS LUNCHEON COMING IN DECEMBER
This year's Annual Holiday Party is set for Saturday, December 13th at the Day's Inn Navarre Conference Center. Ticket prices this year have been reduced to $25 per person! Members are encouraged to bring a canned item or a new, unwrapped toy to the November or December luncheons--every donation will be greatly appreciated!
